Responsible for:
Performing fluid analysis, hand-calculations and 1-D & 3D modelling on engine systems and components you will support customer requirements presenting results and recommendations as necessary.
The Principal Engineer will assist in the preparations of quotations and develop timing plans for projects, whilst supporting other members of the team.
Skills and Experience Required: Automotive Engineering Excellent experience of applying CFD Analysis Techniques in an engineering environment. Experience of Fluid Flow Modelling, including in-cylinder moving geometry, coolant analysis and correlation with test data.
Desireable Working knowledge of CAD Systems, preferably PRO/E or IDEAS Master Series. Basic programming and operating system skills i.e. Visual Basic, Fortran, Pascal, Windows, UNIX and Linux.
Our Client will also consider: An Engineering graduate and ideally with a higher degree or professional qualification such as a PhD.
You will have demonstrable experience in CFD analysis. You will possess an extensive engineering background within the automotive industry sector.
Be competent in fluid flow modelling including in-cylinder moving geometry, coolant analysis and correlation with test data you will be seeking a principal level position. Articulate with strong presentation skills you will be highly computer literate with an analytical approach to problems.
