Our client, a leading Automotive OEM based in the Midlands, seeks the skills of a Calibration Engineer to fulfill a contracts position.
Skills Required:
Development and testing in automotive environments, ideally EMS related.
Proven record of project leadership & delivery of SW functionality to meet cost & Performance / attribute targets. Electronic systems engineering. Calibration tool experience. Canalyser / INCA experience. Excellent Supplier Liaison, communication and Management skills. Strong understanding & application of Design quality tools (DFMEA, Robustness, etc). Self Motivated, enthusiastic and a Good Team Player. Good analytical skills & PC literate.
Skills Preferred:
Green Belt trained. Experience with EMS software specifications / mechanisations. Matlab / simulink data measurement and analysis. Working knowledge of Ford project delivery processes GPDS, eFDVS. Working knowledge of Ford change management processes including AIMS, WERS.
Full Driving licence.
Willingness to travel.
Experience Required:
Proven or greater experience with automotive PowerTrain / EMS gasoline / diesel project
